Last week I submitted a photograph to the website, “There, I Fixed It<\/a>.” This site features epic kludges, jury rigs and redneck repairs and is part of the Cheezburger Network (home of ICanHasCheezburger<\/a> and FailBlog<\/a>). The photograph I submitted is of a tricycle with square wooden blocks for\u00a0pedals, it was taken at the end of the street I live on and the version I submitted was a HDR photo. A friend convinced me to take the photo after the tricycle had been on the corner for a few days, for the sole purpose of\u00a0submitting\u00a0it to There, I fixed it.<\/p>\n

Less than a week after I submitted the photograph, it made the front page. I had hopped that they would include my Flickr page as the source, but that did not happen, though they did include my name as the person who submitted the image.\u00a0As of this morning, my photo submission has 329 thumbs up and 69 thumbs down.<\/p>\n

Knowing that they didn’t provide a link to my Flickr page, I doubt I will make any more\u00a0submissions\u00a0to their site.\u00a0Though it did feel good to see my photograph and name on a website other than my own. I am going to contact the site to see if they will add a link to my site, if I am successful I will post an update here.<\/p>\n
